1. ELIGIBILITY:This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and are members of the Champion page on the website of Facebook, Inc. ('Facebook') located at www.facebook.com ('Facebook Site'). Employees and directors of Hanesbrands Inc. or its parents, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, and immediate family members and persons who live in the same household as such employees and directors, are not eligible to participate.
2. TO ENTER: No purchase or payment is required to enter. To enter, visit the Champion page on the Facebook Site and upload a picture of yourself with your most outrageous game face, decked out to support your team. Photographs may be of one, two or more people, but by submitting a photograph, you affirm and represent that you are pictured in the photograph and that you have permission from the photographer and everyone else pictured in the photograph to submit the photograph as a contest entry. If a photograph picturing more than one person is selected as a winner, only the person with whose Facebook account the photograph was uploaded will receive the prize. If the same photograph is uploaded by two or more entrants in a particular round, any prize will be awarded to the entrant whose upload has the earliest time stamp.
Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ('ET') on November 3, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 1, 2008. Limit three entries per person. Any additional entries after the first three will be disqualified.
Noncompliance with any entry procedure will result in disqualification. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. By entering, you acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including eligibility requirements, and you agree to all decisions of Sponsor and judges, which are final. Sponsor is not responsible for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or delays that may occur, or for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, including any damage to a user’s computer equipment, or for failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor for any reason. Sponsor may disqualify any photograph that it believes, in its sole discretion, is offensive, sexual, violent, or is otherwise inappropriate for viewing on its site. By submitting an entry, you affirm and represent that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and transfer to Sponsor all copyright or other proprietary rights in and to your entry and that you have the written consent, release, and permission of each and every identifiable individual in the photograph to use that person’s likeness in the photograph and to transfer to Sponsor all rights in such photograph.
3. PRIZES AND SELECTION OF WINNERS: Sponsor or its designee will judge all entries based upon the following criteria:
This is a contest of skill. Your chances of winning depend on how well your entry reflects your spirit in support of your team, your originality, creativity and execution, as compared to the other entries in the contest.
The 50 entries with the highest scores according to these judging criteria are the semi-finalists, and those entrants will each receive a Champion hoodie, approximate retail value $30.00. Limit 3 semi-finalist prizes per person. Semi-finalists will be notified via Facebook message on or before December 10, 2008, and will receive their prizes through the mail approximately 4-6 weeks following notification. Semi-finalists will be asked to provide the requested size to Sponsor. Color and style of prizes are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The five (5) semi-finalist entries with the highest scores will be posted on the Champion page of the Facebook Site as Finalists on or about December 11, 2008. Only one entry per person can qualify as a Finalist. Between December 11 and December 18, 2008, Champion Facebook Fans will vote for their favorite Finalist entry. Limit one vote per Champion Facebook Fan per day. The Finalist entry with the highest number of votes will win the Grand Prize tailgate package, consisting of a charcoal grill, rolling cooler, two folding camp chairs and a portable table for four. Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $550. Color, style and size of all items are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Grand Prize winner will be notified via Facebook message on or about December 19, 2008, and must sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release in order to claim the prize within five (5) days of the date the notice was sent or prize will be forfeited and awarded to the entry with the next-highest total number of Fan votes. Sponsor not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail or e-mail.
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution of prize is allowed. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prize will be shipped to Grand Prize winner within 4-6 weeks after confirmation of eligibility.
4. MISCELLANEOUS: In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entrant will be deemed to be the individual registered user associated with the Facebook account used to upload the entry. Any attempt by an entrant or anyone else to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrant and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect entries, or to modify, cancel, or suspend the promotion should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, or fairness of the promotion. In any such event, Sponsor reserves the right to select winners according to the judging criteria from among all eligible entries submitted prior to the event requiring such action. By participating, you agree that the Sponsor, Facebook, their parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this contest. By entering, you agree that Sponsor, and those acting under its authority, may use your name, hometown, likeness and/or voice, and the photograph you submitted as an entry for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without limitation and without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. By entering, you agree that Sponsor shall have all rights to copy, edit, broadcast, publish and use your photograph(s), in whole or in part, in any manner and without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to award fewer than 50 semi-finalist prizes if an insufficient number of Champion Fans participate in the promotion or if fewer than 50 entries meet the minimum score level set by Sponsor for qualification as a semi-finalist, in its sole discretion.
5. WINNERS' LIST: The name and hometown of the winner will be posted on the Champion Facebook page, or you may send a self-addressed stamped envelope (Vermont residents may omit postage), postmarked between December 1, 2008, and January 15, 2009, to: Champion Game Day Buddies Winner's List, 1000 E. Hanes Mill Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of Winners' List. Requests postmarked outside this period will not be fulfilled.
